Meeting November 5th 2007 5:30 p.m.
Nashoba Regional High School

Agenda Items:

Minutes:
The minutes for the October 1st meeting were approved.

Directors’ Report:
The directors report was approved. A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Roland that the trustees authorize Kelly to take $1000 out of the library’s grant money to purchase furniture from Jim Anker for the temporary quarters of the library. We are still waiting for more information about the phone system in the temporary quarters to decide if we should also purchase that. Kelly will follow up on insurance for the temporary quarters.

FY 09 Goals:
A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Chris to make the following the goals for the library for FY09:
1. Successfully manage the construction project.
2. Provide seamless library service in an alternative location.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chris will attend the Board of Selectmen’s meeting on November 15th to present the goals

Early Closing:
A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Chris to close the library at 5:00 p.m. rather than 8:00 p.m. on the night before Thanksgiving. The motion passed unanimously.


Budget:
A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Roland to approve the budget as discussed at the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.


LCC:
There is a draft of the architect’s contract from Richard with comments from Jody. The LCC hopes to have the final contract for the 11/15 Board of Selectmen’s meeting. The firm of Lerner, Ladds & Bartels is currently working on the project. The LCC will look at 1st schematics on Thursday, Nov. 8th. This will be posted as a joint LCC and Trustee’s meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.

The next meeting December 10th at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.
